Mary offers a 75-90 minute (PowerPoint supported) virtual lecture about her quilts; starting with her personal quilting history, then moving on to the original inspiration for creating quilted homes, and finally onto her fiber-art pieces. She reviews her techniques, shows samples of her work, and provides a demonstration so all can witness the simplicity of the process.
This 5-6 hour virtual program starts with a brief PowerPoint summary of Mary's work followed by a demonstration and a step-by-step guide to her technique. To ensure the one-on-one assistance necessary during the workshop, Mary offers this class to a limited number of participants: only 10-12 students at a time. Equally as important, in the weeks before the workshop Mary will communicate via email with each participant to advise on the products needed for the first workshop as well as offering guidance and tips on the subject matter. This preparation readies the participants for the session so they can jump right into their project at the start of the workshop (see photo section below for examples of students' work after 6 hours with Mary).

Outstanding lecture tonight from Mary Mahoney, thank you to whoever found her and booked her.
Awesome‼️ Loved her work and hope to try her process.
I really enjoyed Mary Mahoney’s talk. What a creative person!
Very good lecture AND because it was on zoom, we could see her video very closely. If we had been in a room at an in person lecture we couldn't have seen the details she showed
Really loved the lecture tonight. It would be great to have a class with her.
Her portraiture work was so striking and vivid. Now I’m inspired to step out of my comfort zone and try this technique!
Check out this great video
